Career Development Center of Queens has a new team and a clear mission: teach home care the way we’d want it taught to someone caring for our own family.
That means real skills, honest instruction, and a classroom where everyone — every background, every identity, every level of English — is set up to succeed. We’re veteran-led, and we carry that discipline and heart into everything we do.

We teach to the NYS Department of Health curriculum and hold every student to the 80% competency standard — because employers and clients depend on it.

Home care is intimate, human work. We train aides to bring respect and steadiness to every home they enter.
Doors that open
Certification is the goal, but a career is the point. We prepare graduates for the NYS Home Care Worker Registry and real jobs across Queens and NYC.
